International Symposium on the Family Magnoliaceae

The International Symposium on the Family Magnoliaceae fosters networking and collaboration among participants to advance knowledge and identify major priorities that contribute to  Magnolia research worldwide. Scientists and magnoliaphiles gather from from around the world to exchange the latest information on Magnolia biology, culture and conservation research. To date, there have been three symposia held:

1st International Symposium on the Family Magnoliaceae - China, 1998
2nd International Symposium on the Family Magnoliaceae - China, 2009
3rd International Symposium on the Family Magnoliaceae - Cuba, 2016


The Magnolia Society International Board decided to support the International Symposium on the Family Magnoliaceae with providing the presentations as open source information to any interested magnoliaphiles.
